The product
A cold repair that behaves like a permanent one.
Aqua Patch is a bagged, water-activated cold-mix asphalt repair system. It is used for potholes, utility reinstatements and localised pavement repairs. Water triggers the chemical cure; compaction immediately after watering develops the repair. No heating, no solvents and no specialised plant are required.
Y Block is the Australian and New Zealand supplier. Aqua Patch is manufactured in Japan by Maeda Road Construction Co., Ltd. and distributed internationally by JALUX Inc.
Why it matters
Small repair. Fewer moving parts.
No heating
No hot-mix plant, heating unit or delivery window. Open the bag and use it.
Wet-weather ready
Apply in the rain or directly into a water-filled pothole. Excess water is acceptable.
Open immediately
Straight-line traffic can drive over the repair after watering and compaction. Allow about 2 hours at turning areas.
A permanent repair
